The Kill

Sakura Haruno steps onto every volleyball court ready to annihilate her opponent. After a subpar season leaves her on a new team, with players just as good as she is, she aims to bring them another championship title. In the midst of team bonding, corny rituals, and exhausting practices, she finds herself drawn to the team's captain; Sasuko Uchiha. She's standoffish, insanely good at volleyball, and everything Sakura is not. So the last thing Sakura expects from their first season together, is for her teammate to become more than just someone she see's on the court. Especially after a night out, leaves their peers wondering if they’re teammates, friends, or some secret third thing. While Sakura wonders the same thing as time goes by, and the pair cross certain lines, Sasuko uses the ambiguity of it all to her advantage, because she has just two things on her mind. To win another championship title, and to make her ex-girlfriend jealous. Her new teammate just happens to be the answer to both of those things.
